Babel State Polman and Muntok Muhammadiyah Vocational School Officially Collaborate, Students are Excited to Go on First Field Trip
Bangka Belitung State Manufacturing Polytechnic (Polman Babel) is increasingly expanding its collaboration with the world of education. This time, Polman Babel received a visit from SMK Muhammadiyah Muntok in the context of signing a cooperation agreement as well as implementing the first field trip program. This event took place in the campus presentation room on Tuesday (11/02/2025).
A total of 27 students from the Light Vehicle Engineering department of Muhammadiyah Muntok Vocational School participated in this visit, accompanied by several supervising teachers. Their presence was warmly welcomed by Polman Babel's leadership, marking the first step in collaboration aimed at increasing students' insight into the world of college and the manufacturing industry.

Deputy Director I of Polman Babel, Irwan., Ph.D., in his speech explained that this field trip program was part of Polman Babel's efforts to support vocational school students in understanding the vocational college environment and introducing the facilities and study programs available.
"We hope that this visit can provide students with a real picture of how the learning system at Polman Babel works, especially in the fields of engineering and manufacturing," said Irwan.

The head of Muntok Muhammadiyah Vocational School, Aldo Fitra Saputra, S.H., expressed his impression of the very clean and orderly environment of Polman Babel. He said that this visit was a real step in establishing synergy between vocational schools and vocational colleges.
"We often see information about Polman Babel through social media, but this is the first time we have been able to visit in person. "From the first impression, the campus environment is very comfortable and supports the learning process," he said.
Aldo also hopes that this collaboration can continue to develop and provide benefits for students who want to continue their education to a higher level.
“Polman Babel is a high quality educational institution. "We hope that our students will get the opportunity to study here," he added.
One of the class XII students, Muhammad Reza Pahlevi, expressed his joy at being able to take part in this field trip. "He admitted that he had long wanted to continue studying at Polman Babel because he was interested in the facilities and industry-based learning system," he said.
“I am very enthusiastic because I can see firsthand what the campus atmosphere and facilities are like here. "Hopefully I can continue studying at Polman Babel after graduating," he said.

The event ended with a campus tour session, where students had the opportunity to visit various facilities such as the mechanical workshop, electronics building, design building, joint lecture building, and library. It is hoped that this activity will provide valuable experience and further motivate students to pursue education in the engineering and manufacturing fields.
