Babel State Polman Enliven Smansali 1 Expo, Introduce Featured Programs to Students
Bangka Belitung State Manufacturing Polytechnic (Polman Babel) participated in the Go to Smansali 1 Campus activity which was part of the Smansali 1 Expo program which was held for two days, 06-07 February 2025.
This event was lively with various interesting agendas such as campus introductions, art performances, bazaars and talk shows involving various universities in Bangka Belitung.

In this activity which was attended by all students of SMA Negeri 1 Pemali, Polman Babel was present along with several other campuses, including Bangka Belitung University (UBB), Stisipol Pahlawan 12, IBEK, Muhammadiyah University (UNMUH) Bangka Belitung, IAN Syaikh Abdurrahman Siddik Bangka Belitung, Abdurachman Saleh University (UNABA), Dharma Bhakti Academy, and Poltekkes Bangka Belitung.
The presence of these various educational institutions provides opportunities for students to learn more about higher education options after graduating from high school.

As a representative of the Polman Babel New Student Admissions (PMB) socialization team, Andyka, S.E. explains the various superior majors offered by the campus. Polman Babel has a vocational-based study program with a focus on manufacturing and technology. "We prepare graduates who are ready to work with skills that suit current industry needs," he said.
Furthermore, Andyka also said that Polman Babel has various supporting facilities, such as sophisticated laboratories, practical workshops, as well as collaboration with national and international industry. This aims to ensure that Polman Babel graduates not only have academic competence, but also direct experience in the world of work.
"We hope that more and more high school students will be interested in continuing their education at Polman Babel. Apart from the regular route, we also have various entry selection routes, including SNBP, SNBT and the independent route. This is a great opportunity for students who want to develop their technical skills in a quality educational environment," he added.

The enthusiasm of class XII students at SMA Negeri 1 Pemali for Polman Babel's presence at this event was quite high. One of the students, Clovis, expressed his interest in continuing his education at Polman Babel. "God willing, after graduating from high school, I want to register at Polman Babel, because my hobby is engineering," he said.
Clovis also hopes that he can pass the SNBP selection so he can immediately join Polman Babel and realize his dream in the engineering field. "I want to learn more about engineering and hope to get the opportunity to work in big industry after graduating," he added.
With activities such as the Smansali 1 Expo, Polman Babel is increasingly strengthening its ability to introduce the world of vocational education to high school students. It is hoped that this activity can open students' insight into the importance of choosing education that suits their interests and talents.
With this, we continue to strive to improve the quality of education and collaborate with various parties to produce graduates who are superior and ready to compete in the world of work. "Participation in events like this is a strategic step to attract prospective students who are talented and have potential in the engineering and manufacturing fields," said Andyka.
