Deputy Director III Polman Babel, Attends Renewable Energy Tree Planting Activities with PT Timah
Deputy Director III of the Bangka Belitung State Manufacturing Polytechnic (Polman Babel), Eko Sulistyo, M.T., attended the renewable energy tree planting activity at PT Timah's Balai Karya on Friday (28/02/2025).
This activity is a real step in supporting environmental sustainability and strengthening synergy between industry and academia.
Also present at the event were representatives from the Environmental Service, members of the Babel Province DPRD Commission A, and the board of directors of PT Timah. The presence of these various parties shows a joint commitment to supporting greening and sustainable energy programs in Bangka Belitung.
The Director of PT Timah welcomed the presence of Polman Babel and related agencies in this activity. He emphasized that the company continues to strive to maintain ecosystem balance and is ready to collaborate with academics to develop more efficient green technology.

Eko Sulistyo seemed enthusiastic about taking part in the series of activities. According to him, Polman Babel's participation in this program is not only symbolic, but also a form of educational institution's concern for environmental sustainability and the use of renewable energy.

Apart from planting trees, participants were also given education about the benefits of renewable energy and how to optimize its use in the industrial and household sectors.
