Babel State Polman Sends Outstanding Students to Asia University, Taiwan, Strengthens International Footprint

Bangka Belitung State Manufacturing Polytechnic (Polman Babel) continues to show its commitment to strengthening global networks by sending two outstanding students, Franky and Reddy, to continue their studies for one semester at Asia University, Taiwan.
The departure which took place on Tuesday (03/09/2024) was part of a student exchange program designed to provide international insight for students.
This student exchange program is not the first for Polman Babel. Previously, Ragil, one of the top students, had started his academic journey in New Zealand. In the near future, three more students will pursue their academic experiences in Porto, Poland, and Taiwan, marking Polman Babel's further international expansion.
Ir. Dedy Ramdhani Harahap, M.Sc.(Eng), Chair of the Polman Babel Career and Collaboration Center, said that this success could not be separated from the thorough and structured preparation carried out by the IISMA program team.
"We ensure that our students are academically and administratively ready to face challenges in the international environment," he said.
This preparation includes intensive training from filing to interviews, with the aim of preparing students to compete at the global level.
Dedy also appreciated the contribution of Sari Mubaroh, Adhi Budiono, Susanto and Shanty Dwi Krishnaningsih who had worked tirelessly in managing registration documents, reports and visa processing.
"This collaboration is clear evidence of the full support of the campus which is essential to the success of this program," he added.
In his view, the more students who take part in this program, the greater the benefits they can gain from the experience of studying in an international academic environment.
"We hope that more students will be interested in joining the IISMA program in the coming years, because this is a golden opportunity to develop themselves and increase competence on the global stage," said Dedy.
With this departure, Polman Babel not only expands its international network, but also proves that the quality of its education is able to compete at the global level, strengthening its position as a future-oriented educational institution.
