Polman Negeri Babel Presents LSP Chair in Podcast Discussing Competency Certification
The Head of LSP Polman Negeri Babel, Adhi Budiono, S.ST., appeared on the campus podcast discussing Polman's strategy in preparing certified graduates. Certification is not only an added value, but an absolute necessity.
The State Manufacturing Polytechnic of Bangka Belitung (Polman Babel) is back with an interesting presentation through a campus podcast program held in the Presentation Room, Wednesday (06/25/2025).
This time, the topic is about the importance of competency certification recognized by the Professional Certification Institute (LSP) and the National Professional Certification Agency (BNSP).
Interestingly, being a Polman Babel student is not just about lectures and theory. Every student has the opportunity to achieve competency certification according to their respective fields of study, an advantage that distinguishes Polman Babel from other universities.
This podcast presents the main resource person Adhi Budiono, S.ST., as the Chairperson of LSP Polman Babel. Hosted by host Lamia Eva Rini, MBA., the chat was relaxed but full of important information about the world of certification which is now a primary need in the world of work.
Adhi Budiono explained that LSP Polman Babel actively submits competency standard schemes to BNSP, so that Polman graduates have certificates that are recognized nationally and even internationally.
"This certificate is not just a piece of paper, but proof that our students are truly competent in their fields," he said.
He also said that before taking the competency test, students will receive special training to refresh the lecture material that has been adjusted to national standards.
"With a curriculum that is aligned, students are actually ready from the start," he added.
Interestingly, Adhi revealed that this certification service is free especially for active Polman Babel students. For participants from outside, there is a fee, but for internal students, everything is free from training to issuing certificates," he explained.
