As Host, UKKI Al-Farisi Polman Negeri Babel Successfully Holds RAPIMDA FSLDK Babel 2025
The Bangka Belitung State Manufacturing Polytechnic (Polman Babel) through the Al-Farisi Islamic Spiritual Activity Unit (UKKI) successfully held the 1st Regional Leadership Meeting (RAPIMDA) of the Bangka Belitung Campus Da'wah Institute (FSLDK) Friendship Forum on January 15-16 2025.
With the theme Empowering Muslim Youth, Navigating Leadership and Spiritual Balance in Facing Global Challenges, the opening of the event took place lively at the Polman Babel Hall on Wednesday (15/01/2025).
A total of 70 student participants from five universities in Bangka Belitung also attended. Apart from Polman Babel, participants from Bangka Belitung University, State Islamic Institute (IAIN) Babel, STMIK Atma Luhur, and Pertiba also took part.
This event presented competent speakers, including Boby Bagaskara, S.T., Ustadz Syaiful Zohri, Ustadz Juanda, S.I.P., Ustadzah Kwinda O., S.Th.I., S.Pd., and Andri Widian, S.Tr.T.

Deputy Director III Polman Babel, Eko Sulistyo, M.T., in his speech emphasized the importance of spiritual-based leadership for the younger generation. In the millennial and Gen-Z era, many young people are less interested in spirituality. This makes them vulnerable to various challenges such as pornography, promiscuous sex and drug abuse. "Therefore, we must work together to find a solution to overcome it," said Eko.
"We are facing an era where many young people are less connected to spiritual values, making them vulnerable to various challenges such as pornography, free sex and drugs. We must find solutions together," said Eko.
Eko hopes that this event will become a space for students to develop their leadership potential while strengthening their spiritual foundations.

One of the speakers, Boby Bagaskara, S.T., provided inspirational material regarding the global challenges faced by Muslim youth. "He said that the younger generation has an important role as agents of change, especially in bringing Islamic values into leadership that is inclusive and has integrity," he added.
“Students must begin to understand their strategic role in society. "Not only is he an intellectually capable leader, but he also has a strong spiritual foundation to navigate the complexities of the modern world," said Boby.
In line with that, Ustadz Juanda, S.I.P., emphasized the importance of implementing the material that has been studied. "After this event, I hope that students will not only retain knowledge as theory, but will also be able to apply it in everyday life," he said.
This event also became a venue for interactive discussions between participants and resource persons. The students seemed enthusiastic about asking questions, especially regarding how to maintain a balance between spiritual life and the professional world.
When met, the supervisor of UKKI Al-Farisi, Nassey Lonalisa, S.Tr.T., expressed his hope that this activity would create an inspiring space for Muslim students.
"This is a real step to prepare a generation that is ready to face global challenges with spiritual-based leadership," he said.
The first day of RAPIMDA FSLDK Babel closed with a joint message that Muslim youth have great potential as strong leaders who are balanced intellectually and spiritually. "The second day's activities will continue at the Sungailiat Grand Mosque until closing," concluded Nassey.
