Polman Negeri Babel Wins Silver Award for Highest Publication Score in Vocational Studies at the 2025 Diktisaintek Awards

The Director of the Bangka Belitung State Manufacturing Polytechnic (Polman Babel) attended the 2025 Diktisaintek Award held at Building D of the Ministry of Higher Education, Science, and Technology (Kemdiktisaintek) in Senayan, Jakarta, on Friday (12/19/2025).
This prestigious national-level event recognizes universities deemed to have actively contributed to the development of research, innovation, and scientific publications in Indonesia, particularly in the vocational higher education sector.
On this occasion, Polman Babel won the Silver Winner of the Research and Development Award in the Publication Category (SINTA Award) in the Primary/Middle Cluster Vocational Institution Subcategory, achieving the Highest Scientific Publication Score for 2022–2024.
This award allows Polman Babel to foster a culture of sustainable research and scientific publications, while also affirming the vocational school's position at the national level.
As Director of Polman Babel, I Made Andik Setiawan, M.Eng., Ph.D., stated on Monday (December 22, 2025) that this achievement is significant for the institution, although there is still room for improvement in other award categories, as this award is very meaningful. "Although not as successful as in other categories, this is a significant motivation for Polman Babel to continue improving and developing," he said.
I Made emphasized that in the coming years, Polman Babel will continue to strive to make the best contribution to the development of vocational higher education, particularly by improving the quality of research and publications by lecturers and the academic community.
"Alhamdulillah, this achievement is the result of the support of all academics and the Polman Babel community who have collectively played an active role in the campus's progress," he said.
He also expressed his gratitude for the trust and confidence given to Polman Babel, explaining that even though they only received one award, Polman Babel has strived to deliver the best results.
During the event, the Minister of Higher Education, Science, and Technology congratulated Polman Babel on the award they achieved. He expressed his hope that this Silver Award for Highest Publication Score would be a sign of goodness, progress, and blessings for the institution and its entire academic community.
