Chairman of the DPRD of Bangka Regency, Visits Polman Babel
Polman Babel - Bangka Belitung State Manufacturing Polytechnic Received a visit from the DPRD of Bangka Regency in the meeting room, Monday (27/06/22). The visit was received by the Director of Polman Babel, Deputy Director I, Deputy Director II, and Deputy Director III
Dr. I Made Andik Setiawan, M.Eng.,Ph.D explained that the Bangka Belitung State Manufacturing Polytechnic is no stranger to the Province of Babel. This is due to the large number of Babel sons and daughters studying at Polman Babel and some also serving in government and private institutions.
In receiving this visit, the Director welcomed warmly, and appreciated the presence of the chairman of the DPRD of Bangka Regency, by telling Polman. Babel has a field of expertise that has 2 majors, namely Mechanical Engineering with 3 Study Programs and Electrical and Informatics Engineering with 3 Study Programs, with the hope that "Universities don't just become ivory towers that dwell on campus but must provide benefits to the community and this meeting becomes friendship with the DPRD of Bangka Regency can be well established and provide benefits for the community and the state," he explained.
Meanwhile, the Chairman of the DPRD of Bangka Regency, Iskandar Sidi, revealed that one of the goals of the visit was in the context of friendship. Seeing the actions of Polman Babel has the role of educational academics in supporting the acceleration of development in both Bangka Regency and the entire province of Bangka Belitung. "I believe that many of the graduates of Polman Babel come from Bangka Belitung who produce a generation of young and old intellectuals, hopefully the generation born by Polman Babel can oversee the acceleration of development," he said.
He also believes that Polman Babel is an undoubted and well-known campus because he has seen the results of many studies that have been carried out and the collaboration that has been entrusted both nationally and internationally," he explained.
