UKKRIS Maranatha Polmanbabel Provides Social Assistance to Nursing Homes

SUNGAILIAT_POLMANBABEL.The Bangka Belitung State Manufacturing Polytechnic Student Activity Unit (UKM) (Polman Babel) from the Maranatha Christian Student Spiritual Unit (UKKRIS) provided social assistance to the Nursing Home, Sunday 21 April 2024.
This assistance was carried out in the context of Easter celebrations in 2024, this time the social service activities were aimed at the Rumah Bersama Nursing Home which is located at Jalan Imam Bonjol Sungailiat.
UKKRIS Maranatha Polman Babel advisor, Robert Napitupulu, said that social service activities like this are an annual routine agenda carried out by UKKRIS Maranatha students as a form of sharing between each other.
"This is an annual agenda for UKKRIS Maranatha Polman Babel students, like last year they carried out social service at the Yakabi Orphanage," said Robert.
Robert added that this social service activity took the form of providing assistance to the Nursing Home in the form of equipment and basic food ingredients for the ten residents of Rumah Bersama Nursing Home.
The budget for all these activities is the participation and efforts of students who are members of UKKRIS Maranatha Polman Babel.
"This activity was held from the participation and efforts of students to show concern for each other," said Robert.
He also said that activities like this are very good to do with the aim of providing insight to students and can open students' hearts to care about fellow humans.
