The Taiwan Education Center is now open in Polman, Babel, Indonesia, paving the way for overseas education.
The State Manufacturing Polytechnic of Bangka Belitung (Polman Babel) once again expanded its students' global horizons by holding a Taiwan Education Center Indonesia Socialization on Tuesday, November 18, 2025, held in the auditorium.
142 participants, including final-year students, alumni, and lecturers from Polman Babel, filled the room to learn about the increasingly popular opportunities for further study in Taiwan.
In his opening remarks, Deputy Director I of Polman Babel, Irwan, Ph.D., stated that this event was held to provide an opportunity for those interested in continuing their education abroad, whether students, alumni, or lecturers present.
Therefore, Taiwan is a welcoming country for international students, especially those in the vocational field.
"Being able to study while working in Taiwan is truly a blessing," he said.

The event continued with a presentation by Klara, Assistant Manager of the Taiwan Education Center Indonesia, who outlined Taiwan's various advantages as a study destination for students from around the world.
She explained that Taiwan boasts high-standard academic and research facilities comparable to universities in the United States and Europe. "The bilingual education system also helps international students adapt more quickly to the learning process," she said.
Furthermore, Klara explained that international students can take free Mandarin language classes. Taiwan also provides support services that are very attentive to the needs of international students.
"Taiwan is also known as one of the safest countries in the world," she explained.
Furthermore, the quality of education and cross-cultural experiences are also attractive, offering a multicultural learning environment and extensive job opportunities for college graduates.
"Taiwan's technology industry is among the world's leading, so there are great opportunities for vocational students like you," she said.

The socialization activity concluded with a souvenir exchange between Polman Babel and the Taiwan Education Center Indonesia, symbolizing cooperation and the hope for broader collaboration opportunities in the future.
