To strengthen information about lectures, SMA Negeri 1 Simpang Katis visited Polman Negeri Babel.
Simpang Katis 1 State Senior High School conducted its first educational visit to the Bangka Belitung State Manufacturing Polytechnic (Polman Babel) on Wednesday (December 10, 2025). The group was immediately directed to the auditorium to participate in a series of campus tour activities.
A total of 60 students and eight accompanying teachers made the long journey from Simpang Katis to Sungailiat. Upon arrival at campus, they were warmly welcomed by the Polman Babel Academic, Student Affairs, and Cooperation team.

As Head of the Academic, Student Affairs, and Cooperation Division of Polman Babel, Somawardi, M.T., opened the event with a presentation on Polman Babel's profile, explaining, "If you want to study, choose a university that truly aligns with your heart and intention."
Somawardi explained Polman Babel's various advantages, from its practice-based learning system to industry collaborations. "This information can help students navigate their educational future," he explained.
He continued, explaining that the team provided a video screening of the campus profile, and the students and teachers appeared pleased.
"Watching the visual video content provided by the team, it was clear that the students and teachers were very interested in the Polman Babel campus," he admitted.

Meanwhile, Heni, the Vice Principal of SMA Negeri 1 Simpang Katis, who represented the principal, expressed her gratitude for the warm welcome and encouraged the students to immediately register at the Polman Babel campus as their college choice after graduating from high school, especially since the campus will be located in Central Bangka Regency," she said.
Heni added that the students gained hands-on experience by touring the campus, seeing the laboratory facilities, and witnessing the practical and theoretical learning processes taking place at Polman Babel.
On the same occasion, the Head of the Academic Subdivision of Polman Babel, Olan Romdhani, S.E., provided information regarding the opening of the National Selection for New Student Admissions (SNPMB) through the SNBP, SNBT, and Mandiri channels. He encouraged students to seek information directly from the campus for more detailed information.
"If you are still not satisfied with the information provided, please come directly to the campus to receive an accurate explanation from the Polman Babel Academic, Student Affairs, and Cooperation team," Olan concluded.

The visit concluded with the exchange of souvenirs between Polman Babel and SMA Negeri 1 Simpang Katis as a symbol of cooperation and a cherished memory. The visit concluded with a group photo session, creating a warm and special atmosphere, marking a memorable first experience for the students.
