Solidarity and Character, Mabim Department of Electronics, Babel State Polman Guides 240 New Students
The Association of Electronics Departments (HJE) is again holding a Guidance Period (Mabim) with the main aim of forming the character of new students and increasing their understanding of the department's programs. This activity took place on Thursday (19/09/2024) afternoon and is planned to be held in six meetings during one semester.
Mabim this time involves around 240 first semester students, who are expected to make the most of this opportunity.

According to Arya Ramadhani, Chair of the Association of Electronics Departments, this event was designed to help new students understand more deeply about the department and prepare them for studying in the field of electronics.
"We hope that this activity can provide additional insight and shape better character among new students," he said when met on Friday (20/09/2024). Arya's statement emphasized the importance of character formation in this transitional period.
This program includes various activities, from technical introduction to soft skills development which is expected to improve participants' personal and academic qualities. With this approach, new students not only learn theory, but also how to implement it in everyday life.
Rafli Nur Iksan, Chief Executive of Mabim, emphasized the importance of this activity as a means of building solidarity between students. "Mabim is not only about academics, but also about how to build solidarity and support each other," explained Rafli. This shows that collaboration and support between students is very important in the early stages of study.
He assured that the entire series of events had been designed in such a way as to be beneficial for the participants. "We want to ensure that each session provides a valuable and relevant experience," he said. In this way, it is hoped that new students will feel better prepared to face future challenges.

On the other hand, the Head of the Electronics Department, Zanu Saputra, M.Tr.T., expressed his hope that this activity would become a strong foundation for new students in navigating the world of college. "We in the department really support this activity because it can have a positive impact in academic and non-academic terms," said Zanu.
With this Mabim activity, the Association of Electronics Departments hopes to form the next generation who not only excels in the academic field, but also has good character and skills.
"This activity is an important step in supporting new students to be successful in the world of college and beyond," he concluded.
