Presenting PPKMB Materials, Realizing Strategic Education for Preventing and Handling Sexual Violence
The speaker, Yang Fitri Arriyani., M.T. provided an in-depth explanation of the importance of preventing and handling sexual violence in the PPKMB session at the Bangka Belitung State Manufacturing Polytechnic Campus.
Polman Babel - In the PPKMB Polman Negeri Babel activities, socialization was carried out about the Prevention and Handling of Sexual Violence (PPKS) which was held in the Polman Negeri Babel Hall, Wednesday (07/08/2024).
This material is very important with the aim of increasing student awareness regarding the existence of the PPKS Task Force and how to prevent and handle sexual violence for all residents of the Babel State Police Campus.
As Chair of the PPKS Task Force, Yang Fitri Arriyani., M.T. "It is hoped that holding this activity will increase students' understanding of the importance of preventing and dealing with sexual violence, as well as creating a safe and comfortable campus environment, free from acts of sexual violence," he added.
He also hopes that students will understand that preventing sexual violence requires joint efforts from all campus residents.
"This activity can provide information and best practices for dealing with sexual violence, as well as to encourage students to be more proactive in reporting and preventing these incidents," he stressed.
One of the new students, Nabila Saskya Fitrianti, said that following this material program was very useful and provided new insight into how to prevent and handle sexual violence.
"I feel that if there is a problem facing a situation of violence or sexual harassment, I will immediately report it to the Babel State Police PPKS Task Force," he said.
"With the existence of the PPKS Task Force, we hope that the Polman Babel campus will be committed to continuing to create a safe environment and continuing to support the response for all students if there is an unpleasant incident that falls into the category of acts of sexual violence," he concluded.
