Polman Babel - The handover of positions (sertijab) for student organizations (ormawa) and student activity units (UKM) for the 2024/2025 period has taken place at the Bangka Belitung State Manufacturing Polytechnic campus, marking a change in management and a new spirit in the student organization.
The Ormawa and UKM handover was held on Friday (26/07/2024) in the Polman Babel Campus Hall Building. This event was attended by the Director, Deputy Director III and several student administrators consisting of, Student Senate, BEM, HMJ majoring in Mechanical and Electronics Engineering as well as UKM UKKI Al Farisi, Automotive, Entrepreneurship, English, Mahacita, KSR PMI, UKKRIS Maranatha, Arts , Robotics, Volleyball, Basketball, Badminton, Futsal, Athletics and unmanned fast boats in terms of providing support to new leaders who have been elected.
Director of Polman Babel, I Made Andik Setiawan., M.Eng., Ph.D in his remarks with the change in management, it is hoped that new enthusiasm and fresh ideas can enrich activities and innovation on campus. Hopefully the new administrators can bring positive changes and continue to develop the potential and activities on campus, making the Bangka Belitung State Manufacturing Polytechnic more accomplished and competitive and establishing good and productive communication with various related parties, such as lecturers, alumni and external partners, to support the activities and programs held," he added.
"Students must implement new ideas that can improve the quality and effectiveness of the activities of student organizations and student activity units, as well as contribute positively to campus life and encourage active participation from all students in various activities, both within the organization and outside, to strengthen the sense of togetherness and involvement of the campus community," he concluded.
Meanwhile, Deputy Director III, Eko Sulistyo., M.T. hopes that the new management can improve the quality and effectiveness of student organizations and student activity units (UKM). This could include improvements in management, activity planning and implementation of existing programs and prioritizing the importance of good collaboration between student organizations, UKM and other parties on campus, including lecturers and alumni. "It is hoped that this synergy can strengthen the programs being implemented and create a wider impact," he said.
"Emphasizes the importance of maintaining ethics and integrity in every action and decision taken. Good leadership must be based on strong moral principles and a professional attitude," he said.
"With this certificate, it is hoped that the new leadership can bring fresh and innovative ideas, as well as increase student contributions in non-academic social activities," he concluded.
