Babel State Polman Welcomes Benchmarking Visit from Indramayu State Polytechnic
The Bangka Belitung State Manufacturing Polytechnic (Polman Babel) received a visit from the Indramayu State Polytechnic (Polindra) in the context of benchmarking or copy study, Monday (25/11/2024).
The meeting took place in the Polman Babel Director's meeting room and was attended by a number of representatives from both institutions.
This visit was welcomed directly by the Deputy Director 1 of Polman Babel, Irwan, Ph.D., accompanied by the Head of the Center for Quality Assurance and Learning Development, Ahmad Josi, M.Kom., as well as several Polman Babel lecturers. From Polindra, the Head of P2MP, Fauzan Amril, M.T., was present along with lecturer representatives.
In his speech, Irwan, Ph.D., expressed his appreciation for Polindra's initiative to collaborate and exchange insights. "This activity opens up great opportunities for developing the quality of education through sharing experiences and best practices," he said.
Irwan also added that benchmarking like this is important for building a superior vocational education ecosystem. "We hope that this meeting can be the start of a wider collaboration between Polman Babel and Polindra," he added.
Head of the Polindra Center for Quality Assurance and Learning Development, Fauzan Amril, M.T., also expressed his great hopes from this visit. "We want to learn more from Polman Babel, especially in terms of quality assurance and learning innovation," said Fauzan.
Fauzan also emphasized the importance of this visit as an initial step in strengthening inter-polytechnic relations. "Hopefully what we learn here can be applied at Polindra to improve the quality of education," he added.
Ahmad Josi, M.Kom., as Head of the Center for Quality Assurance and Learning Development at Polman Babel, also appreciated this visit. "The arrival of Polindra colleagues is a good momentum to share experiences, especially in developing the quality of education," said Josi.
According to Josi, Polman Babel is always open to sharing experiences and best practices. "We believe that synergy like this will have a positive impact on both institutions, especially in producing competent graduates," he said optimistically.
The meeting took place in an atmosphere full of enthusiasm. The two parties exchanged ideas and discussed quality assurance programs, learning methods and other vocational education innovations.
"This visit is expected to be the first step in creating a strategic collaboration between Polman Babel and Polindra to continue to advance vocational education in Indonesia," stressed Josi.
