POLMANBABEL MOU WITH BABEL PROVINCE REGARDING SME EQUIPMENT FACILITATION

The Bangka Belitung State Manufacturing Polytechnic (Polmanbabel) signed a memorandum of understanding with the Provincial Government (Pemprov) of the Bangka Belitung Islands and Bank BRI Syariah at the Office of the Governor of the Babel Islands on Wednesday (18/11) in order to support and facilitate production equipment for the Small and Medium Industries (IKM) in Babylon.
The memorandum of understanding signed directly by Babel Polman Director Made Andik Setiawan, Governor of the Bangka Belitung Islands Erzaldi Rosman, and Head of BRI Syariah Pangkalpinang Branch Firman Hidayat aims to optimize the facilitation of manufacturing machines or production equipment for IKM actors in Bangka Belitung in order to increase production capacity and power product competitiveness.
During the signing, the Polman Babel Director, accompanied by Deputy Director III and Head of the Polmanbabel Career and Cooperation Center, explained that Polman Babel was ready to support and contribute in facilitating the needs of IKM Babel, which is Polmanbabel's service to the community.

Meanwhile the Governor of Babel Erzaldi Rosman hopes that the MoU should be followed up in the direction of a cooperation agreement so that efforts to help IKMs in Babel can be realized quickly.
“If there are people in Babylon who can make machine tools, why should they leave? Because if it is assembled from here, when it is damaged it can be easily repaired, and IKM will be more helpful," said the Governor.
This MoU involving BRI Syariah will provide convenience for small industrial businesses especially in obtaining working capital and financing to develop their production equipment. Benefits for SMEs will have an impact on product quality and increase production. For Polmanbabel, it will contribute to community service as well as in improving Polmanbabel HR skills, for BRI Syariah it can distribute funds on target to business actors.
