The Department of Electrical and Informatics Engineering (JTEI) is one of the majors at the Bangka Belitung State Manufacturing Polytechnic which houses several study programs in the Electrical and Computer Engineering family. Currently, the Department of Electrical and Informatics Engineering already has 3 study programs, including: D3 Electronic Engineering Study Program, D4 Electronic Engineering Study Program and D4 Software Engineering Technology Study Program

The Department of Electrical and Informatics Engineering (JTEI) prioritizes practice to achieve an active and applicable application of science and technology with the percentage of practical lectures above 60%. To improve the soft skills of students, the Merdeka Learning Campus Merdeka (MBKM) curriculum has been implemented with various activities that students can choose freely. To strengthen balanced soft skills and hard skills, all study programs implement project based learning methods or Project Based Learning (PBL) and Case Methods in certain courses so that students are familiar with real projects, mentally strong, able to communicate, with good attitude and character. . It is hoped that graduates from the Department of Electrical and Informatics Engineering can become qualified workers and are ready to go directly to the industrial and business world.

Until now, the Department of Electrical and Informatics Engineering has produced graduates who have worked in various sectors, such as the industrial sector, both private and state-owned, the education sector, private companies, and multinational companies, as well as entrepreneurs spread throughout Indonesia.
